Andrew Armitage from Greenside Referrals in the UK joined Ané for a
Facebook Live where they discussed the adverse events associated
with the use of Librela. In the live session, Andy shared a short
presentation that includes radiographs and descriptions of the bony
changes he sees in some of the dogs that experience adverse events
from the use of Librela. He explains that we typically see one of
two patterns - rapidly progressive joint destruction, which can
occur within 2 treatments; and insidious periarticular
mineralisation syndrome, which typically develops over a longer
period of use. This has a few different presentations, with the
strangest being popcorn mineralisation and stegosaurus
exostosis...
